The @phimuelonu instagram account is the primary social media platform for our sorority. My goal as PR Chairwoman was to properly showcase the bond our sisterhood has through the media. Representing all members of our chapter is important to me so that we can highlight the work our members have done. I make sure to post weekly, following a cool toned color scheme to ensure the feed is visually appealing. Our community engagement has thrived through this platform with an increase in followers, likes, and comments.

MZ Wallace Social Creative Project

As part of my application for the Social Creative Intern role, I developed a multi-part social media project aligned with MZ Wallace’s brand voice and aesthetic. My goal was to showcase how I combine creative direction, content creation, and copywriting to bring a brand’s story to life on social platforms. The process involved styling, video editing, and brand research to ensure consistency with MZ Wallace’s established voice while still adding a fresh, engaging perspective. The assignment included:
  • Writing on-brand captions that reflected the brand’s tone of confidence and versatility.

  • Creating a short-form video featuring a styled bag, edited for social media, with a caption highlighting its adaptability across different looks.

  • Designing a concept for an Instagram Story series (“Let’s Unpack That”), breaking down the functionality and style of an MZ Wallace bag in an engaging, editorial way.
